"Santa Claws" werewolf shot

Here's a great close up on the werewolf from the upcoming short film, "Santa Claws", which is currently in the post-production phase.



"Santa Claws" is the story of Eddie, a traveling santa claus who also happens to be a werewolf. Although he wishes to live in peace, Eddie finds himself caught in the middle of a power struggle between the Vampires, the Witches, and a psychotic blue-masked, screw-driver wielding bounty hunter...all of whom wish to use Eddie for their own personal gain.

"Santa Claws" is a fun horror film, inspired by late night cable re-runs such as "The Twilight Zone". The film is slated for release this summer where it will be posted, in full, online . Check back for more updates!

The film stars Brian DiBonaventure, Rachel Labadie, Gerald Prince, and Dessaline Stevens.

Under the Rainbow Promo Teaser

This is a promotional teaser we shot to get "Under the Rainbow" off the ground. This was shot on low end equipment, but gives you a feel for the film.

"Under the Rainbow" is a dark horror fantasy film about Vivi, a drug-addicted teen struggling to cope with the guilt of her mother dying during her childbirth, finds herself pushed to the brink of suicide when she suddenly and inexplicably awakes into a terrifyingly foreign and violent world shrouded in fog and rainbows. Almost immediately murdered by a pack of vagabonds, Vivi is saved by a brave and deadly preacher named Vilmos who takes her under his wing. With Vilmos’ help, Vivi sets off to find a mysterious Prophet who she hopes can help her put together the missing pieces to her puzzle.

All the while, Vivi is being relentlessly hunted by a ruthless Queen and her army of sadistic madmen, including a depraved maniac Jester, who seem hell bent on capturing her. Vivi soon realizes she must come face to face with this ominous Queen to unlock the secrets not only of this enigmatic world, but of her own existence as well.

Under the Rainbow is a unique, violently dark fantasy horror film about suicide, drugs, murder, family, spirituality and what happens to our souls when they leave the world we know.

Welcome to the West 2nd Blog

Welcome all to the new home of everything West 2nd. I will be updating everything happening with the company and the many projects with which we are involved in some way shape or form.

Currently West 2nd is in post production on the short film "Santa Claws", and we are in full swing production on our debut feature film entitled, "Under the Rainbow". Principal photography on Under the Rainbow is slated to wrap up this summer.
